A software studio that started with a simple thought: I bet a computer could do this.
I was complaining about the software I was using at the time. The cost, mostly, and how little of it actually fit the work. My girlfriend offered to build me something better. I brushed it off. A few weeks later the thought came back, and this time it stuck: a computer could do this.
Agreeable Ventures started in Clarksville, Tennessee as a project management consulting firm. We've since expanded into software development.
The consulting practice informs the products. The products reflect real workflows, not assumptions about them.

James Cox
I'm James. I build the way I try to live: honestly, carefully, with respect for the people on the other side of it. My faith is the reason for that, and it shapes what gets built here more than any business strategy does.
I started in construction before I knew what project management was, cleaning job sites and working house-flipping crews. Then nearly a decade in real estate as a broker, property manager, and eventually founding a brokerage. I came back to construction through a consulting engagement that turned into something longer. Three years in, still going.
Somewhere in there I started building the software I wished existed.
Faith is the foundation.
Everything here is built on that.
Honest, not kinda honest.
No half truths.
Carry the load.
You've got enough to manage. We're designed to reduce the load.
Started in construction in Albuquerque, NM, doing job site cleanup and working house flipping crews. Transitioned into real estate, spending nearly a decade as a transaction coordinator, associate broker, property manager, and eventually founding a boutique brokerage.
Landed in Clarksville, TN and began dabbling in construction again.
Founded Agreeable Ventures LLC as a project management consulting firm. Took on one client. Still have them.
Consulting continues, and our first software product is in development.
